Ashe juniper, 18.25”L x 10”W x 7”H. No longer available.

One of my earlier pieces, this was cut from the base of a large multi-stemmed juniper. Each projection represents a branch that had begun to grow upward and outward from the center of the core. Because of the depth and geometry of the piece, almost all of the sanding was by hand, causing this to be one of the most labor-intensive pieces I have ever carved.
