Narrow walnut tray, 24”L x 3”W x 1”H.

This long narrow black walnut tray was carved from the outside of a large branch, where long strips of lighter and darker wood are interwoven. Farther toward the center of a large black walnut branch or trunk, this pattern of light and dark is replace by uniformly dark wood.
